As we all know, our Fairy Chocmother is a huge advocate of chocolate, so it should have been obvious when she said she’d been trying out some cake recipes that she would turn up with the most amazingly fudgey (and dare we say, moist) chocolate cake we’d ever seen.

Layers of the squidgiest chocolate sponge, smothered with a rich chocolate ganache. Even those of us on the strictest of diets couldn’t turn down a little smidge of this delectable delicacy.

Surprisingly there was a little left over and we swear it tasted even better the next day.

Luckily you don’t have to wait for long to try this, as it is now available for delivery (local to Cirencester we’re afraid. This would not fare well through the post!)

CHOCOLATEAUX FUDGE CAKE

Plain flour (GLUTEN), light soft brown sugar, water, chocolate [sugar, cocoa butter, skimmed MILK powder, cocoa mass, whey powder (MILK), butter oil (MILK), HAZELNUT paste (NUT), emulsifier: sunflower lecithins, vanilla extract] cream (MILK), caster sugar, butter (MILK), rape seed oil, EGG, cocoa powder, baking powder, instant coffee, vanilla essence,  bicarbonate of soda, salt.

Please note, our Fairy Chocmother loves to cook, so all our bakes are made in a kitchen that handles all known allergens.
